$87,995 — complete van, ready to drive
159" Wheelbase · 19.6 ft · Class B RV
Is This Your Van?
Nearly two feet longer than the LV3 with meaningfully more living space, yet it drives like a large SUV. The LV5 is our most popular model for a reason.
Couples
Room for two to cook, sleep, and live comfortably without stepping on each other.
Remote Workers
Swivel seats create a mobile office. Enough power for laptops, monitors, and hotspots all day.
Extended Travelers
Weeks on the road without resupply anxiety. More water, more counter space, more storage than the LV3.
The "Do Everything" Buyer
Daily driver, weekend warrior, road trip rig, and home base. Still fits most parking garages.

What's It Like Inside?
420 cu ft of living space — our most popular layout for a reason.
How Everything Works
Not specs — real answers about daily life in your van.
How does the heater work?
Your Peak heating system runs off the van's gas tank -- about a cup of gas per day. It heats the entire van in minutes, even in sub-zero temperatures. One important thing: run it at max temp for 60 minutes once a month to prevent carbon buildup. Set a phone reminder.
What about air conditioning?
The optional 12V AC runs off your battery bank. With the Trailhead's 300Ah system, expect 2-4 hours of AC on battery. With the Backcountry's 600Ah system, you get significantly longer runtime. Shore power gives you unlimited AC at any campground hookup.
How does the electrical system work?
Your van charges three ways: rooftop solar panels (automatic, always working), the alternator while driving (via DC-DC charger), and shore power when plugged in. The Trailhead's 300Ah/200W system handles 2-3 days of light use. The Backcountry's 600Ah/400W system can go 4-5 days -- enough for most extended boondocking.
How much water does it hold?
7-gallon fresh and 7-gallon grey water tanks. That's about 2-3 days of conservative use for a couple (drinking water from separate jugs). Fill up at campgrounds, gas stations, or any potable water source. The electric pump provides running water at the sink.
How does the toilet work?
The standard cassette toilet is a portable, enclosed system -- dump it at any RV dump station. The composting toilet upgrade ($2,500) separates liquids and solids, eliminating odor and the need for dump stations. Most extended travelers prefer composting.
Is there a shower?
There's no fixed indoor shower -- and that's by design. A permanent shower stall takes 4+ square feet of living space and most van owners use it once then store things in it. Instead: the kitchen faucet extends on a hose for rinse-offs, the external shower add-on ($800) gives you a private outdoor setup, and campground showers and gym memberships cover the rest.
What can I cook?
The induction cooktop handles everything from boiling water to stir-fry. More counter space than the LV3 means you can actually prep food comfortably. The 12V refrigerator keeps groceries cold for days. The 5-drawer kitchenette stores pots, pans, utensils, and dry goods -- no digging through bins.
Choose Your Layout
The LV5.1 is our most popular layout — queen bed plus an optional second-row seat. Something no other van in our lineup can do.
LV5.1 — East-West Queen
Queen bed (60" x 72")
The queen bed runs side-to-side across the van. This layout uniquely allows you to add a second-row seat AND keep the queen bed -- something no other layout can do. Perfect for couples who want passenger seating for friends or family.
- ✓ Queen bed + second-row seat possible
- ✓ Best couples layout
- ✓ Maximum seating flexibility
LV5.2 — North-South Bed
Full-length bed layout
The bed runs front-to-back along the van wall. This orientation gives taller sleepers more room and opens up the floor plan for additional storage or a dedicated workspace.
- ✓ Better for taller individuals
- ✓ More open floor plan
- ✓ Larger dedicated storage area

Can I add a second-row seat AND keep the queen bed?
Yes -- but only with the LV5.1 (east-west) layout. The east-west queen bed orientation leaves enough room for an optional foldaway rear seat ($3,200). This is the only layout in our lineup that offers both a queen bed and passenger seating.
What's the difference between LV5.1 and LV5.2?
Bed orientation. The LV5.1 runs the queen bed east-west (side to side), which uniquely allows adding a second-row seat. The LV5.2 runs the bed north-south (front to back), which provides more sleeping length and a more open floor plan. Both use the same 19.6 ft chassis and same systems.
How does the LV5 compare to the LV3?
The LV5 is 1.6 feet longer (19.6 ft vs 17.8 ft) on a 159" wheelbase vs the LV3's 136". You get more living space, more counter space, more storage, and the option for multiple bed configurations. Same engine, same systems, same build quality. The LV5 is for people who want a bit more room without jumping to the full-size LV7.
Can I live in this full-time?
Yes, and many owners do. The LV5 is the sweet spot of livable space vs daily drivability. The Backcountry trim with 600Ah battery and 400W solar is ideal for extended off-grid stays. For dedicated full-time living, also consider the LV7 -- but most owners find the LV5 is the better daily driver.
Does it fit in a parking garage?
Most parking garages have 7-foot clearance. The RAM ProMaster High Roof is about 9'3" tall, so standard garages are too short. However, the LV5 fits in standard parking spots length-wise and drives like a large SUV. Many owners park in surface lots and street parking without any issues.
What's the gas mileage?
Expect 16-20 MPG depending on driving conditions, load, and terrain. The 3.6L V6 with 9-speed automatic is tuned for efficiency. The 24-gallon fuel tank gives you 380-480 miles of range per fill-up.
